I am 5′ 6″ and I had the dress hemmed at the bottom so I could where a light heel but not trip. 😉 The waist was also tucked in snug so I could spin around and feel like it would not fall down. Then I had the adorable sleeves added that drape around the arm. They are sewn in which cost extra for the tailoring. The cheaper option was snaps on, but I tried that and they just popped off. So you are getting a great deal for those straps which I think make this dress just amazing. My total for all this was about $2000 (alterations I mentioned and veil). Ivory Cashmere color is a photographers preference over white as it helps with capturing the moment on film. One of my favourite aspects of the dress is the open slit for the leg. So you can peek your leg out if you want in photos and it helps with walking and getting room for a great swish and ball gown feel. Retail is $1500 and the veil was $145. I am asking for $1125 based on price for a new dress but resold at $1050 (going rate for unworn dress) and then $75 for an unworn veil. If you do not want the veil I will offer the going rate of $1050 and I can sell the veil separately.
