This dress is a gorgeous ivory fit and flare with a nude illusion bodice and dramatic applique train. It’s been altered to fit an athletic body type with a size “6” in street clothes. I didn’t end up wearing this dress because the style/fit of the dress does not ultimately suit someone with a small bust and the chest area cannot be altered to be made smaller due to the intricate design and applique work. The dress was altered with cup lifts (easily removable), but women with B cups or smaller like myself will most likely still have gapping in the bust area despite tightening the straps. Otherwise, the dress fit like a glove and is beautiful and classic. The dress was hemmed for a 5’5″ woman with 2-3″ heels, and already has a beautifully done bustle with hidden color-coded clips to make bustling super easy.
Dress has not been worn other than for fittings and has remained in a dark closet in a garment bag for the entirety of its ownership. Dress has been professionally steamed once. The only imperfection on this dress is that the back of the dress is missing one of the small metal closure clasps (underneath the faux white buttons) that got snagged while placing it in its bag, but otherwise it is in new condition.
